Here's my guide on how to be unhappy:
1. First thing in the morning, check all your social media accounts and consume unconsciously.
2. Have some sugary bakery thing for breakfast and spill it down with an instant coffee to go.
3. Do your work, but every now and then, check on social media or shopping websites just to make sure you're not missing out on some sale.
4. When you go and do your grocery shopping, go by car and put on some podcasts or music to keep things exciting and avoid silence and boredom.
5. Meeting with your friends, make sure to talk about the gossip of other people or how horrible your work day has been.
6. Back at home, sit on the couch, open a bag of potato chips, and whatcha the news or some TV show.
7. Go to bed with your phone to look at Instagram travel blogs or other social media, to actively compare yourself and nurture the profound feeling that your life sucks and everybody is better than you.
Why this post?
Many times it's easier to stay away from toxic things than trying to figure out what's actually good for you.
By avoiding toxicity, you're automatically inviting and creating more room for positivity.
What would you add?
Noteworthy additions in the LinkedIn comment section:
8. Only think in short term satisfaction. Say no to all challenges and discomforts. Even though you know that on the long run they'll bring you great pleasure and gratitude.
9. Wait for [anything] to change any of these points. And repeatedly start over from 1 every day.
