Your definition of discipline might be wrong

Discipline is not just about grinding, hustling, and working.
Instead, it's also about:
- resisting the urge to grab the phone without conscious reason
- going straight to bed in the evening instead of procrastinating
- doing something that you know makes you feel good
- finding time for stillness, rest, and inactivity (especially when there's a lot to do)
- integrity and staying true to own values (especially when faced with criticism and adversity)
- showing love and kindness when feeling enraged
- questioning your own perceptions
- opening your mind to other opinions
- finding time for friends and family
- doing things you want to do, despite feeling ashamed for them
- reacting thoughtful and collected instead of impulsive
- singing out loud to a song when you feel like it (regardless of somebody listening)
- accepting uncertainty and what is not under your control
Most of the time, we are too worried about productivity: Constantly pushing for more, driven by social norms, and lacking self-esteem, including myself.
That's why sometimes it is important to remember ourselves that
(1) life is not just about progress
(2) discipline is not only about work
(3) productivity is not only about achievements
What would you add to the list?
What does discipline mean to you?
