Can we figure out life?

My profile status on LinkedIn reads “Trying to figure out that mystery called life”, here are some critical thoughts about it:

When we say that we’re trying to figure out life: What are we actually trying to figure out? What is there even to figure out? And can it actually be figured out? Like once and for all?

Sounds stupid and way to simple. As if life is one logical mathematical task with only one logical and correct solution or result.

I guess it isn’t. Or if it is, it’s a mathematical task with constantly changing numbers and results. So in the end, there hardly can be any “figuring out life” at all.

To me, figuring ‘it’ out is a choice. There is no one way and each person chooses what the meaning of life is. … I think people are both creating and solving their math equation as it relates to the meaning of life.”

Thank you Justin for being an inspiration and always a great sparring partner to discuss and reflect about difficult life topics.
